We are thrilled to announce that Starpunk’s developers have thought very carefully and decided that there will be a change in the ratio between guaranteed allocation and FCFS (for tiers: Earth, Solar) when participating in the SPO events on Starpad. More specifically, in order to improve fairness and head towards a comprehensive Starpunk’s DAO protocol, this proposed amendment will be decided by the SRP holders.

Yes, that’s right, each of your votes will be the deciding factor for this update! In particular, you will receive a special Airdrop reward from Starpunk if your choice is also the choice of the majority of users.

To participate in this first voting event, members only need to use their $SRP tokens to lock into the respective option pool. Specifically:

• Join in the voting event at: https://starpunk.io/community
• For each vote, you will need to lock 15 $SRP
• Each address can only vote up to 5 times (can vote for multiple options).
• There are a total of 4 options for members to choose from:
  • Option 1: 20% Guaranteed Allocation :  80% FCFS
  • Option 2: 30% Guaranteed Allocation :  70% FCFS
  • Option 3: 40% Guaranteed Allocation :  60% FCFS
  • Option 4: 50% Guaranteed Allocation :  50% FCFS

The vote will be conducted in 24 hours from 14:00 PM (UTC), December 13th and will close at 14:00 PM, December 14th (UTC).

Participant Rewards

• We will apply the rate of the most voted option in the next SPO of Starpad.
• Users that voted for the winners will then split a pool of 3,000 SRP, based on the number of votes from each participant.

Airdrop allocation per runner-up vote = (1 / Total number of votes received by the runner-up) x Runner-up Airdrop Pool.

Terms & conditions

• The $SRP tokens used to vote will be locked in the corresponding option pool within 7 days.
• Airdrop tokens will be distributed within 7 days from the results date.
• Starpunk reserves all rights to change the rules of this event without notification, including revoking the results suspected of vote manipulation.
